Lenovo has launched Vibe K5 Plus as it’s another budget-friendly phone after the Vibe K4 note. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is pretty good to look at, especially in terms of its budget price and good features. However, the device is not as great as the company’s previous launches like A6000 and A7000.

Design and Display

The phone looks definitely impressive with its rounded corners and metallic edges. The device has a premium finish with its 5-inch full HD display count for a smart feel. The navigation buttons placed below the display look fine but they lack the backlit features, which disrupts their usage in the dark.

The display is quite vibrant and the viewing angles are also decent. However, viewing the screen clearly under direct sunlight is a problem, which is a common issue among low price handsets.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus Specifications and Camera

K5 Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor combined with 2 GB RAM and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It has Dolby Atmos speakers and TheaterMax VR support system. The phone’s 16GB in-build storage can be expanded up to 32GB by using microSD cards.

As far as the camera is concerned, you can expect clicking nice pictures with the 13MP primary shooter and 5MP secondary clicker for selfies. The rear camera takes really sharp images in well-lit environment but not so great clicks in the low light.

To sum up the review, it is right to say that K5 Plus is a decent phone with its budget price tag but with a few flaws. Average camera, heating issues and unsatisfactory call quality is something we don’t expect from a brand like Lenovo, having a great track record.

Anyhow, when we compare Lenovo K5 price with the other available options, we find it certainly a ‘not-so-bad’ deal.
